Substations |
Service-orientedIn an effort to increase service to the community, Chief G.E. Board authorized the opening of three new police substations. The substations are designed to offer most services that normally are found at the police department, which is located on the third floor of the municipal building at 3rd & Avery Streets, Downtown. These substations are located at:
The substations are staffed by volunteers from the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program @ 422-4993. |
What You Can DoCitizens can file police reports, meet with officers and take part in a variety of programs that will be offered at the substations. Some of the programs to be offered are blood pressure and cholesterol checks, bicycle safety, child car seat programs and safety fairs. These substations will allow citizens to stay in contact with the police department without coming to Downtown. |
