Electronic Fingerprint Scanning System
The Parkersburg Police Department now has an Electronic Fingerprint Scanning System. It employs digital technology to capture the prints and transfer them onto a fingerprint card. This is used only with the standard FBI 10-print blue applicant card.
The person being fingerprinted will have to acquire these cards. Normally, the business that is requiring the background check will provide these cards to you.
Scheduling
The Parkersburg Police Department offers background check fingerprinting to the public Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm by appointment. Please call Evidence Technician Ross Clegg at 424-8444 to schedule an appointment.
There is a $15 fee for use of this service.
